This is a revolutionary, dynamic and powerful methodology that is phenomenological and experiential in nature developed by the German Psychotherapist Bert Hellinger. A Constellation can locate the underlying dynamics of an issue in the present, or over many generations and may often provide a different perspective or options for a resolution. Personal Development This course will involve mind, body, soul perspectives that will be educational, experiential and will involve personal development in a professional, confidential, safe and supportive, learning environment. As part of the learning, you will be encouraged to look at your own situation in terms of constellations in order to bring to light any “blind spots,” to raise awareness and allow personal resolution, in preparation for working with others in this methodology. What is Systemic Family Constellations? This is a methodology that works with any systemic issues that derive from the family of origin, that are being experienced by present family systems in terms of dysfunctional behaviour, relationships and family patterns. Systemic Family Constellations demonstrates clearly that unresolved systemic issues may arise and be played out from generation to generation, until they can be resolved and put to rest, leaving its family members free to make healthier choices. This is a highly effective methodology that taps into the underlying dynamic and entanglements that bind us, in terms of self esteem, relationships and well being. Family Constellations were called Movements of the Soul by Bert Hellinger, the originator of the work and works at the level of the Personal, Family and Inter-generational soul. It also works from a visual, intellectual and emotional level to change perception and perspective. It is highly effective for all relationship issues and many mental health disorders ranging from all family and marriage issues including divorce, parenting, single parent families, blended families and adoption, to emotional, physical and sexual abuse, incest, depression, self esteem, anxiety, suicide and panic attack and more. A new Brief therapy Family Constellations comes from the Humanistic phenomenological philosophy and is a brief, experiential methodology that may stand alone as brief therapy or may be incorporated in more extended therapy. The methodology and philosophy may be applied in many different ways, by therapists in workshops or private sessions and by welfare workers in working with families. Because a lot of our entanglements come from our family of origin, or from the patterns past down though the generations, this process taps into entanglements and helps the person to acknowledge “what is” and to free themselves respectfully, while allowing a healthier connection to their roots to form. Teaching or Learning style. I am mindful of the fact that each person in the course will be coming with their own former education, professional and life experience, which has value. You will receive a recommended reading list once you have completed the application. Only two books will be compulsory reading texts, although I will also supply a list of extra optional reading matter.. The course will comprise of teaching sections which will be informative and also interactive.. This will be followed up by experiential practice and demonstrations. You will be encouraged although it is not mandatory, to look at your own situations in terms of constellations. Yildiz is a Counsellor, Clinical Supervisor. Hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and Family Constellations practitioner who is registered with DGfS Germany and ISCA. She is also an Educator at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. About Yildiz Sethi Yildiz has run a busy private practice for the last seven years in the north shore of Sydney and moved to Brisbane in 2007 to be closer to her children. She is also a lecturer at the Australian College of Applied Psychology, originally in Sydney and now in Brisbane where she is an expert in Methods of Counselling. She is a Registered Counsellor, Registered supervisor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, NLP practitioner and Systemic Family Constellations practitioner Clinical supervisor. She is very grateful to have received trainings and teachings in Systemic Family Constellations from many different sources starting with Svagito Liebermeister and Vedanta Suravi in India and Spain and at the Bert Hellinger Institute in Munich, Germany with many well known international teachers such as Albret Mahr, Ursula Franke, Jakob Schneider, Berthold Ulsamer and also Bert Hellinger himself in Austria in 2007 at his first international training for therapists. Yildiz is probably the most experienced Family Constellations practitioner of private sessions in Australia and has been facilitating regular workshops in Sydney since 2005 and is now facilitating workshops in Brisbane and Sydney on a regular basis. " I am amazed with the depth of solutions reached for the whole family system in Family Constellation therapy. I've came to my first workshop with Yildiz in early May this year and I was so impressed that I've decided to start training as soon as possible. This very first workshop was a strong energy work; the participants who take the roles of client's family members do not play the roles, but access the real energy of those members. It needs to be experienced, so I leave the descriptions out. Also the mastery of facilitators, Yildiz and Satish Sethi is difficult to describe.
